What is the UAE Financial Rules & Regulations?

Developed in collaboration with the Securities & Commodities Authority, this exam can be used as the regulatory unit in the CISI’s Investment Operations Certificate (IOC) or Capital Markets programme.

Exam Details

This multiple choice question (MCQ) exam is computer-based, consists of 100 questions and lasts 2 hours. CISI recommends a minimum of 100 hours study. Your exam may contain up to 10% additional trial questions.

Pass Mark

The pass mark is 70%. The exam grades are as follows:
Pass with merit (91 – 100 marks)
Pass (70 – 90 marks)
Fail (0 – 69 marks)

Exam Availability

CISI CBT exams are available on demand via a global network of test centres, find your nearest test centre. They are also available to sit via remote invigilation.
Re-sits: candidates may make a maximum of 6 attempts at the exam in any one year. Please see CISI’s Multiple Sittings Policy.
