Description:
JOB SUMMARY
The job main role is to assure banking operation is current and updated, maintaining automated bank (integrations) software package, and ensure all are completed in an accurate and timely manner. Maintain the company’s insurance operation (reporting, claims management, and renewals)
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES
• Manage and control company Bank accounts; identify cost efficiencies and opportunities (fee reductions, interest rates, etc.)
• Maintain the Bank account authority matrix; ensure that the proper access to company accounts is granted.
• Handle banking operations, such as: opening/closing/evaluating bank account (local & international), bank statements, banking processes, tracking bank transaction etc…
• Analyze financial statements/ bank statements and liaise with Banks in all matters of bank operations.
• Apply treasury & banking policies, procedures, guidelines, and processes.
• Identify and report foreign exchange, interest rates and other counterparts risk… exposure.
• Maintain credit facilities (due date of the installments, LC’s & LG’s, or any related required documents).
• Assist, defining and managing per party exposure limit through analyzing historical data and categorizing parties based on set TAWAL guidelines and procedures.
• Ensure all necessary appropriate periodical reports are developed and updated.
• Manage and maintain all insurance policies; ensure that policies are renewed on time and within the specified timeframes and coordinate with insurance companies/ vendors/ Shareholder, Insurance Team on various risk coverage and insurance matters.
• Reviewing customers/vendors contracts and agreements to identify all related to insurance or any banking matters requirements.
• Create periodic asset valuation reports and derive a present value/fair market value.
• Ensure that financial risk exposure is minimal by implementing protective / risk management tools (insurance policies, secure funds. Etc.,)
• Perform other responsibilities and tasks as directed by the Line Manager in order to meet Section/Department objectives.
JOB REQUIREMENTS
• Minimum Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance or equivalent
• Minimum Experience:
3 years of experience
• Functional Expertise (Knowledge, Skills & Abilities):
• Financial Modeling
• Strong problem-solving
• Negotiation & follow-up skills
• Strong analytical/quantitative skills
• Good understanding of banking & financial risk management
