Job Purpose

This role is responsible for marketing, acquiring and managing corporate relationship with main focus on liabilities (Deposit) in order to establish, develop and maintain pro-actively a portfolio of corporate customers who require routine as well as complex secured structured trade finance and other Corporate and investment banking services in order to generate revenue for the Bank.

Job Responsibilities
• Developing Business from new & existing clients, through strategic penetration into identified market/sectors across the entire portfolio spectrum like secured assets, liabilities, and cross-sell (structured products, trade finance, secured lending, cash management, forex).
• Maintaining and enhancing relationships with key customer accounts and prospective customers to ensure business continuity and growth. Managing complex relationships independently, under the overall supervision of Unit Head/Business Head.
• Growing secured assets and liabilities to enhance the… profitability of the account & maintaining the growth of liabilities (deposits) to ensure the balance of loan to deposit ratios & achieve optimal growth of the business while managing the liquidity aspects.)
• Delivering full range of the products to the corporate market place with a high degree of confidence.
• Preparing / executing multi-products to the corporate market place with a high degree of confidence.
• Assessing business, financial & economic risks and opportunities, and maximizing potential to x-sell.
• Preparing / executing a call program designed to evaluate industry/market risk, assess opportunities, and maximize potential to x-sell products.
• Monitoring risk and ensuring that the Bank’s relationship strategy is in line with the Portfolio and Industry quality.
• Ensuring up to date compliance, KYC and client profile for each/key client as well as maintaining a high level confidentiality at all time
• Proactively contact customers in portfolio in order to capture higher share of wallet by cross selling products and marketing new products and services
• Liaising with various internal departments for smooth and quick turnaround of transactions. (Follow up with other bank departments to expedite processing of customer related issues and account opening documentation.)
• Making joint and/or independent calls on assigned names as well as following up with customers on outstanding and regularizing the accounts (exceptions, etc.).
• Co-ordinating, where appropriate, the development of key account action plans necessary to maximize potential profitability. Getting involved actively to ensure all policies and procedure are adhered to cover the operational risk and reputation risk.
• Expanding the Bank’s revenue stream through providing excellent service/DIB products to superior customer relationship management
