About the Role

Develop a vision for the SME Lending related digital products and, together with the relevant proxy product owners, be accountable for the delivery of that roadmap, ensuring alignment to the Digital Product and wider Bank strategy, with a clear user focused service design approach. Collaborate with key stakeholders from across the Business including Credit, the Branch, Financial Product and the control functions to understand business requirements and priorities, supporting effective inclusion in your product roadmap. Build and lead a high performing team of Digital Product Owners who oversee proactive, customer focused multi-disciplinary teams. Lead technical squad and business product for Digital advanced Instalment Loans, invoice lending, BNPL, Credit Line, Merchant Loans, Micro Credit, Micro Savings, Fixed Deposits products. Develop Digital Strategic Partnerships with external third parties, trade license authorities, free zones, and government entities. Develop an inclusive and collaborative culture where the advice and knowledge of skilled specialists around user insights, journey and UX design, technology delivery, security and infrastructure are heard and respected in order to develop highly effective digital products through a process of research, ideation and design.

Responsibilities

• Develop Digital Strategic Partnerships with external third parties, trade license authorities, free zones, and government entities
• Develop an inclusive and collaborative culture

Qualifications

15+ years of cumulative experience, including a minimum of 10+ years in digital product development and leadership of a single or multiple Agile squads. Bachelor’s degree as a prerequisite, with an advanced degree considered advantageous.

Required Skills
• Established track record as a Product Owner or in a comparable role, with a focus on back-end/front-end engineering and software solutions within the banking and finance sector
• Proficiency in agile development methodologies such as Scrum or Kanban, and a history of collaborating in cross-functional teams
• Familiarity with AI, block chain and machine learning concepts, data analytics, workflow automation, JAVA-based app creation, and cloud-based technologies
