– This position will engage, collaborate, and partner with Product Management, Software Development, DevOps, and technology partners to drive strategy and approach for Intelligent Document Capturing & Processing.- At UBS, we re-imagine the way we work, the way we connect with each other – our colleagues, clients, and partners – and the way we deliver value. – We are looking for a Senior Tech DevOps Engineer to:
– Day to day support of Developers, BA, Testers and Scrum Masters and Product Owners throughout SDLC in Agile teams in all areas but not limited to release integration and deployment
– Be an integrator to the Dev and Operations teams, especially to Wintel Services and DBAs
– Adopt, build and improve existing CI/CD… pipelines using GitLab and other tools available within the organization
– Set up, configure and manage a large estate of Wintel servers in Dev & Test environments
– Proactively look for areas of improvement, automation and setting high quality standards
– Engage in Agile methodology and scrum ceremonies
– Organize and coordinate releases, patching cycles, BCM (DR) tests and any other activities that affect Applications (including creating implementation plans) for all parties involved, e.g. Wintel Prod team, Application L2 & L3 teams, DBA team and Business teams
– Create and maintain implementation plans and technical documentations
– Plan capacity and hardware requirements for all environments
– Understand, follow and enforce Organizational internal processes and standards
– Comply with all applicable UBS standards, principles and policies for S/W development and rollouts

– You’ll be working in the Information Capturing & Processing Crew, which is part of the foundation stream of Client Document and Records Management. You will work within a team DevOps engineers who work across various PODs of Information Capturing & Processing to support the delivery and improvement of the Digital Mailroom Capturing and PDF/A converter service, Kofax Express and the Transformation API service. Along with your team members, you will enable the transition from our classic products to the new strategic and integrated suite of products. The crew mission is to become the global differentiator for capturing and processing of (client) information by offering innovative information services for integration & automation. The members of this chapter are working out of Qatar, Doha

• *Your expertise**
– proven experience in CI/CD and good understanding of DevOps principles
– release packaging and deployment design, creation, and automation
– quality experience in GitLab, Ansible, Scripting (e.g., Bash/PowerShell/CMD-batch) and SQL
– analytical and inquisitive mindset with solid problem-solving experience under pressure
– good communication and inter-personal skills and willingness to learn and adapt
– understanding of networks, load balancers, job scheduling, login security and SSO
– sound knowledge of IIS, Azure, Wintel physical and virtual servers, MS SQL Servers and experience and certification in MS Azure
– proven ability to work with both DevOps and Developers
– Proficiency in administration of Wintel servers
– experience in Kofax Total Agility product
– familiar with Agile methodologies
