JOB PURPOSE
To design, develop, implement, manage, and support the BI reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes and environments, as well as gather, document, approve business requirements, and develop reporting and solutions and projects providing reliable data and information for accurate data analysis and adequate decision making.KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
– Manage the design, architecture, development, implementation, management, and support of BI reporting and Extract, Transform, Load (ETL) processes, and environments to ensure reliable data base for the right decision making.
– Support the business analysis to gather requirements for BI solutions and enhancements, including translation of business requirements into specifications (including definition and understanding of use cases) that will be used to drive data store, data warehouse, data mart design, and configuration to ensure efficiency and reduce analysis iterations.
– Coordinate the transition of developed BI systems to the Technology Operations team to ensure proper installation and availability on time.
– Provide support to ensure the availability and performance of enterprise data and BI environments for IsDB and external users
– Ensure proper configuration management and change controls are implemented to support the usage of BI systems and ensure efficiency of reporting systems
– Provide technical assistance and training to Business Intelligence & Data Management and wider Solution Delivery team members to ensure operations’ efficiency and adequate use of the information.
– Design and implement data architecture in adherence with best practices, guidelines and repeatable processes.
– Analyze business requirements, support configuration for all solution architecture and promote usage of ETL tools to load data store(s)/ data warehouse(s)/ data mart(s).
– Administer and monitor BI and data management solutions, including the creation of report templates required by end-users according to the development life cycle to ensure compliance with quality standards, accurate data analysis and reporting on projects for adequate decision making.
Education, Experience & Certification
Academic and professional qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field is preferable
– 8+ years implementing and managing enterprise wide reporting systems, including specific experience in BI solutions
Language Skills
– English : Required
– Arabic: Preferred
– French: Preferred
