Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank’s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels
Roles & Responsibilities
• Develop mobile applications using Android latest tech stack aligning with UI design principles, patterns, best practices, and Material Design
• Able to develop, build and release apps using CI/CD technologies
• Develop applications using Shared Preferences, Google Material design, broadcast receivers, adapter views, Sliding tab, layout view
• Experienced in integrating front end application with backend API’s (Java Microservices)
• Experience in implementing firebase
• Good knowledge of Android SDK, different versions of Android, and deal with… different devices
• Strong knowledge with database handling with SQLite and has knowledge with Room DB
• Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
• Work on bug fixing and improving application performance
• Continuously discover, evaluate, and implement new technologies to maximize development efficiency
Requirements
• Developer with 7-8 years of experience in mobile app development using Android
• Experienced in developing native Android application
• Experienced at Java SDK design functionality, including the full activity lifecycle
• Knowledge in Kotlin, Androidx, Java, Android SDK, Android NDK, Dagger
• Experience with android components
• Worked with RxJava, Retrofit for handling webservices
• Proficient in UI design elements dynamic screen building, strong knowledge in almost all view components
• Hands on experience with Cloud APIs, push notifications, social media integration, and integration of analytics is an added advantages
• Experienced in the architectural pattern like MVC, MVP and MVVM
• Hands on experience with tools like SVN, GIT, Bitbucket, JIRA, Jenkins
• Knowledge on jetpack components
• Knowledge On managing and publishing app to play store
• Knowledge on Best practices for App security
