Description:
Job Purpose:
• Manage various operational aspects of the Facility, Security and Escrow agency functions.
• Operate the Agency function to ensure the highest service standards and timelines.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on various agency transactions in the portfolio.
• Manage and monitor the allocated Transactions on an ongoing basis.
• Report directly to Head of the business
Key Result Areas:
• Assist the team in maintaining a pipeline and developing the portfolio.
• Coordinate with parties on document execution, CP/CS Satisfaction & successful utilization.
• Facilitate waiver and amendments for borrowers and direct the syndicate Lending group as applicable.
• Monitor Information Undertakings and Financial Covenants reporting to ensure documentation compliance and escalate matters to Unit Head in the event of a discrepancy or delay.
• Maintain and monitor Security in various facilities in various capacities, including renewals, expiries, lodgments, and… retrievals.
• Maintain Escrow business as per the Agreement requirements.
• Liaise regularly with various internal departments (i.e. FTC, Credit OPS, Payments division, Compliance, Relationship, Risk etc.) and manage enquiries pertaining to transactions
• Updating KYC in various accounts and fulfill all compliance/regulatory requirements.
• To act in the best interest of all parties, i.e. lenders and borrowers, fulfilling fiduciary obligations, if any, without any conflict of interest and maintaining impartiality to all parties.
• Continuously improve and recommend improvements in policies and procedures for the unit.
• Responsible for the digitization effort of the team
Knowledge, Skills, & Experience:
• Graduate with around 10+ years in Corporate Banking Operations and preferably 3-5 years in Agency role
• Job holder must have documentation skills to interpret LMA standard documentation and have knowledge of Operations to have a control of the transaction flow. Knowledge of general banking operations is prerequisite.
• Strong communication skills with an ability to converse well with Borrowers, Lenders and external and internal stakeholders.
• Self-motivated and ambitious with problem solving ability and excellent business analytical skills.
• Should be proficient with MS Office (i.e. Excel, PowerPoint) and should process an eye for detail.
• Ability to work in a team, independently when required, when under pressure and to adhere to tough deadlines
