We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Commercial Banking team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve divisional business targets. This role is based in Abu Dhabi.
• *In this role, you will**:

– Provide full administrative and secretarial support to their Manager
– Reply to and formulate correspondence on behalf of their Manager
– Use Lotus Notes/Office packages to produce and type documents
– Prepare routine letters – ones without needing manager’s approval and some more complex correspondence prepared for approval by manager
– Be responsible for diary management – meetings organised and diary invites managed
– Prepare meeting papers, agenda items and MI collated for meetings
– Action all items monitored as appropriate, advising manager of progress
– Maintain department inventories and records
– Manage and control the projects on behalf of their Managers
– Regularly liaise with Manager’s direct reports to ensure that projects are on track and that deadlines are met.
– Co-ordinate travel and accommodation requirements
– Organise and plan conferences/off-site events including preparation and collation of presentation material
– Maintain HSBC internal control standards
– Have awareness of all elements of Operational Risk associated with the role in compliance to SOX for contact centres

Requirements
• *To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements**:

– Relevant experience working in an administrative or secretarial role supporting a manager or team
– Excellent planning and organisational skills with experience of working under pressure
– Excellent interpersonal, written and verbal communication skills
– Excellent keyboard, shorthand and audio skills
– Advanced computer and IT skills, including all Microsoft packages
– Ability to prioritise workload effectively
– Good understanding of bank and departmental procedures, functions and activities
– Experience of having worked in a Corporate environment
– Graduation degree is a must – to secure a UAE Visa and Work Permit
