Description:
Our client is very established, profitable, reputable, well-run and provides a range of digital and blended learning solutions to banks and financial services firms throughout the world. They have an extensive content library and are well known in their space.
They have an opening for an experienced business developer/new business sales person who can prospect, build relationships and close business. The industry vertical is banking and financial services and the ideal applicant will have a good understanding of what a bank does and how it is structured.
You will also ideally have sold either SaaS or any form of learning solutions (face to face training/eLearning/LMS/etc) before.
Full JDs can be provided upon successful initial application/expression of interest but in short, the sales cycles can be long and complicated and the ideal candidates will be great at prospecting, asking questions, consulting and helping the client buy. Moreover, strong drive and an ability to expertly… craft proposals and presentations for pitches will be crucial.
What you must be/have:
• Several years of corporate sales experience – into banks and financial services
• Enthusiastic, professional and courteous with clients and colleagues
• Ability to work under pressure
• Self-starter
• Adept at building client relationships
• Commercially-minded
• A passion for delighting the customer and a client mind-set
• An understanding of the learning solutions landscape plus experience in either SaaS sales or some form of learning solution.
• Ability to get to the London office 4 times per week (we’ve advertised the role as on-site but you can do 1 day from home)
• A track record in delivering a sales quota of £500+ (depending on experience and what you were selling
