Role Purpose :

The Officer is responsible for handling the portfolio of borrowing customers and market new business (Loans & Advances).

This role also demands Risk Analysis, Financial Analysis, Business Analysis …etc and cover all aspects of lending as per policy guidelines. Monitoring of account and applicable covenants and ensuring the approval conditions are met. This role also involves supervising day-to-day affairs of the assigned portfolio and conduct all necessary coordination with customers as well as internal as well as external departments.

The job responsibility also includes ensuring that the bank’s portfolio is managed with profitability and within risk / policy guidelines.

Key Accountabilities

·Solicit, acquire, maintain and develop existing as well as new relationships with clients through periodic review of clients’ financial needs and researching market opportunities.

·Managing client relationships to attain sales targets through successful placement of clients… by selling and cross-selling the of corporate banking products.

·Carrying out various analyses on customers’ financial position as part of a complete credit analysis report on new credit facilities or renewals.

·Collectively underwrite and review credit proposals with credit analysts / WB officers for new exposure as well as additional facilities for existing clients. Ensures proper documentation is in place for all credit exposure as per internal and external guidelines.

·Closely monitoring performances of accounts within their portfolio to detect any signs of trouble, maintaining credit quality of the designated portfolio by minimization of non-performing assets with the aim of minimizing defaults and provisions.

·Prepare and deliver a detailed business plan to achieve the projected yearly budget and sales targets.

·Address queries raised by credit risk, credit Admn, compliance, legal, Operations departments for earliest resolution

·Analysis and review of KYC Documents and checking previous records with lenders and proposing sutibale security and collateral structures against credit facilities.

·Lead coordinating with empaneled agencies for retrieving the technical & legal reports.

·Coordinating with post disbursement team for execution of documents and loan disbursement.

·Monitoring of loan accounts by ensuring end use of funds sanctioned and compliance to sanctioned terms and conditions.

·Handling auditors for internal, concurrent and statutory audits and ensuring compliance of irregularities pointed out by them.

·Supervise housekeeping of the corporate banking including, filling, documentation and record management

·Preparing periodic reports (as per management requirements) and submission as per timelines advised

· Attending to any other task as per management instructions

. To follow risk-related policies, risk management policies and procedures to control the potential risks.

Skills and Education

o Minimum 7-10 years of experience

o Strong analytical skill

o Capacity to engage with various stakeholders and to coordinate with internal departments as well as external agencies

o Proven ability to communicate in English (both oral & written)

o Ability to work independently and drive delivery of assigned projects

o Thorough understanding of the corporate / SME lending in the UAE is a must

o Minimum Bachelor’s Degree from a reputed University

o Self-motivated with a high energy level and passionate about outstanding performance.

o Excellent planning and organization skills.
