We are currently seeking an experienced professional to join our team in the role of Project Manager.
In this role, you will:
• Lead multiple programmes/projects globally, delivering business value.
• Building trusted relationships with business & IT stakeholders
• Working with the key stakeholders to understand emerging customer needs and… opportunities, and new projects.
• Work closely with WPB Heads and Platform leads to secure execution capacity for CDS deliveries.
• Control budgets, communicate financial variances and have a comprehensive understanding of HSBC financial processes.
• Represent CDS in WPB meetings.
• Be able to understand complex business requirements, new technologies and be able to influence teams to adopt new practices.
• Be capable of making complex decisions and resolving escalations.
• Functional Manager responsibilities, including hiring of new resources within the VS.
Requirements
To be successful in this role, you should meet the following requirements:
• Experience working within the CDS and / or Fraud IT domain (desirable).
• Extensive and proven track record of managing and influencing complex stakeholders at all levels within IT and the business, plus building lasting relationships.
• Extensive Programme Management experience, leading major / complex IT programmes to deliver benefit to the business.
• Strong influencing, written and verbal communication skills is a must.
• Extensive experience of managing risks and issues, and working with IT and Business stakeholders to resolve technical issues.
• Leadership experience, including managing a team of IT resources.
• Background in Agile and the adoption of best practises.
• Proven experience in financials and controlling budgets.
• Cloud experience, GCP, AWS and/or Azure (desirablle)
