Job Summary

This role is responsible for delivering a differentiated and superior International Banking (IB) proposition for affluent clients, implement delivery of the Affluent CVP to clients and define the client engagement strategy for IB. Scaling cross-border referrals between India and corridor markets would be a key deliverable for this role.

Key Responsibilities

Strategy
• Design a comprehensive International Banking Client Value Proposition (CVP) covering key corridor markets of SCB
• Define delivery and implementation of the IB CVP including benefits and rewards across markets

Business

LEAD GENERATION & MANAGMENT
• Define plan for cross-border referrals: lead generation and end-to-end fulfilment of leads including mapping out lead journeys and tracking performance
• Manage IB markets and corridors: drive referrals, track set-ups and coordinate between teams, manage corridor coverage

CLIENT ENGAGEMENT
• Embed IB pitch across client lifecyle and segments
• Drive IB-focused engagement through events and marketing communication

FRONTLINE ENABLEMENT
• Drive RM Training & Engagement on IB CVP, Processes, Policies and governance frameworks

GOVERNANCE
• Country Engagement Rules (CERs): Work with compliance teams across markets to define and streamline cross-border client engagement rules across product sales, marketing and client communication. Own, manage and simplify CERs, drive communication and implementation in-country
• Ensure execution and delivery of the IB proposition is in full compliance with country regulations across corridor markets

Processes
• Ensure regulatory compliance and streamline operational procedures
• Implement efficient processes for tracking engagement and performance

People & Talent
• Work with cross-functional teams across products, sales, legal and compliance, marketing to deliver the IB CVP

Risk Management
• Ensure adherence to regulatory standards and internal risk frameworks

Governance
• Maintain robust governance practices and adhere to country regulations across corridors
• Report performance and risk metrics to senior management and relevant stakeholders

Regulatory & Business Conduct
• Display exemplary conduct and live by the Group’s Values and Code of Conduct.
• Take personal responsibility for embedding the highest standards of ethics, including regulatory and business conduct, across Standard Chartered Bank. This includes understanding and ensuring compliance with, in letter and spirit, all applicable laws, regulations, guidelines and the Group Code of Conduct.
• Effectively and collaboratively identify, escalate, mitigate and resolve risk, conduct and compliance matters.
