We are looking for an experienced finance professional to join as the Group Finance Director/ CFO based in Riyadh, Saudi Arabia.

JOB OVERVIEW
• Set the group’s financial strategy including financial policies and procedures.
• Manage the treasury, financial control and risk management functions and ensure that they support the business objectives and guidelines of the holding.
• Ensure the group has adequate liquidity, low cost financing and appropriate hedging.
• Lead all bank relationship and secure needed funding from private and public sectors.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and deploy the financial strategy of the holding and set corporate financial policies and guidelines.
• Ensure that finance functions operate per adopted financial standards.
• Recommend optimal… capital structure strategy with input from the Treasury Manager and manage the group’s balance sheet.
• Oversee the treasury’s cash management activities.
• Manage the risk of the group in accordance to the risk appetite of the shareholders.
• Drive the establishment of credit risk policies along with the Treasury Manager.
• Review, validate and endorse budget, control report, financial plan, financial reports, all financial aspects of strategic plans and performance analysis reports.
• Sign off on Performance Analysis report and examine budget availability in order to implement corrective actions.
• Maintain relationships with banks and other sources of capital in order to minimize the cost of borrowed funds.
• Lead all loan negotiations and filing with public and private sectors (e.g. SIDF, ADF, banks).
• Maintain an effective and up-to-date financial management information system.
ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
• Open to Arabic & Western applicants.
• Bachelor’s Degree in finance, accounting, or financial engineering, and a professional designation (CA, CFA or CPA) are required.
• 15+ years of experience, with at least 7 years in finance management level role within an investment holding company.
• MUST have current or recent KSA experience and hold strong contacts with local banks and financing partners.
• MUST have current or recent contacts with Semi government bodies related to investments and acquisitions.
• Understanding of the financing requirements of holding companies/ groups.
• Very strong CFO experience for a group of companies or Holding company.
• A great deal of experience overseeing many Acquisitions and mergers.
• Experience at raising capital through many methods, banks, land, investors etc and the complete financing process in KSA.
• Must have Capital structures experience and knowledge.
• A solid financial leader who has the insight to drive the business forward with new acquisitions and capital
