The Digital Sales Manager is a critical member of the UAE Digital Channels team, specifically, this role will be accountable for delivery of ambitious commercial growth in Digital performance, measured by the Digital KPIs, with a particular focus on: Pure Digital Sales; Assisted Digital Sales and Digital Revenue.

In this role, you will:
• Define, agree and achieve the digital channel targets – digital sales, digital conversion, revenue growth and digital channel share of voice
• Lead Digital Acquisition and Sales Journey Transformation activities across the public websites, account opening and originations, mobile banking and online banking for the UAE.
• Focus on retail and wealth customer journeys: credit cards, loans and NTB, GMA, direct investing and FX [as applicable]
• Passionate about customer journey optimisation and transforming the digital channel into a high performing sales distribution channel.
• As the primary contact the role holder will be responsible for overseeing the day-to-day execution of Digital Commercialization programs, marketing consulting, data analysis and complex problem solving, while working closely with the global digital and analytics teams.
• Build and maintain exceptionally strong relationships with the UAE product and marketing teams, advising them on how to apply quantifiable long-term, state of the art optimization strategies, including but not limited to A / B testing, multivariate testing, personalization and content targeting.
• Establish excellent working relationship with the wider business teams, specifically, Sales & Distribution, Products & Propositions, Customer Relationship Management and Data and Analytics to ensure deliverables are matched to business outcomes.
• Identifying key risks, issues and interdependencies and providing appropriate mitigation strategies or escalating as appropriate.
• Ensuring that all HSBC Wealth and Personal Banking services offer standout customer experience and fully deliver on our brand promise.
• Provide market leading, compelling digital services that can leverage our global scale and distribution network. With increased connections between our businesses around the world, the aim is to take us from a collection of locally orientated propositions to one global set.

Requirements

To be successful in the role, you should meet the following requirements:

Knowledge / Experience
• Bachelor’s degree is mandatory for UAE Visa and Work Permit
• Consumer financial services industry experience and strong understanding of Digital business, while experience with travel, lifestyle, and/or other consumer product development is a strong advantage.
• Outstanding track record with a digital business and transforming digital sales.
• Experience with A/B Testing and Multivariate Testing solutions. Experience with personalization projects or programs an advantage.
• Strong quantitative skills and familiarity with statistical analysis or experiment design.
• Working knowledge of the Adobe product suite, Tealium or relatable MI and analysis tools.
• Subject Matter Expertise of channel, including technical, commercial, marketplace and customer considerations.
• Strong Commercial focus, ability to balance risks vs. rewards and maximize the cost effectiveness and profitability for the business.
• Pragmatic decision-making skills, with the ability to make clear judgments based on a range of factors, for example commercials, risk, and customer experience determine the implications and make recommendations as needed.
• Innovative with the ability to approach things differently or do different things to deliver goals.
