About the Role
A small, but leading UK bank is seeking an experienced Delivery Manager – Cards to support end to end business and technology change programme of work. This role will oversee the E2E delivery of complex, high-impact projects, ensuring alignment with strategic goals, regulatory requirements, and governance frameworks. Acting as a bridge between business and IT, the successful candidate will play a crucial role in executing a key card transformation programme efficiently and effectively.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead the delivery of business and IT change, ensuring seamless execution and adoption
• Manage multiple complex workstreams, balancing technical and business impacts
• Ensure robust governance, project reporting, and risk management in line with regulatory expectations.
• Work closely with C-suite and senior stakeholders to drive informed decision-making
• Act as a link between business and IT, ensuring clear communication and collaboration
• Drive supplier management to ensure effective partnerships and service delivery.
Successful candidates will have:
• Proven experience in change delivery within a regulated financial services environment, ideally in a challenger or fintech banking environment
• Knowledge of card products and their workings in a banking environment
• Strong track record in managing high-profile, complex projects with both technical and business impacts
• Experience with both Waterfall and Agile methodologies
• Exceptional stakeholder management and communication skills including 3rd party (or vendor) relationship management, supplier management and up to C-suite steer-co
• A pragmatic, delivery-focused mindset with strong problem-solving abilities
