– We’re looking for a Data Engineer to:
– derive and implement an outcome-driven analytics approach that meets the operational and analytical needs of the organization
– engineer reliable data pipelines for sourcing, processing, distributing, and storing data in different ways, using data platform infrastructure effectively
– build observability into our solutions, monitor production health, help to resolve incidents, and remediate the root cause of risks and issues
– understand, represent, and advocate for client needs
• *Your team**
– In our agile operating model, crews are aligned to larger products and services… fulfilling client needs and encompass multiple autonomous pods. You’ll be working in the Data & Reporting crew in Doha, Qatar focusing on keeping our data streams robust & reliable. In addition, you’ll help preparing us in making our next technology steps (e.g. cloud, streaming), closely collaborating with your colleagues in India and Switzerland.

• *Your expertise**
– 8+ years of experience with strong understanding of Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence concepts
– expertise in data warehouse development using SQL is a plus
– strong understanding of data modeling and database design principles and demonstrated experience with complex SQL and query tuning
– strong Unix shell and scripting experience is a plus
– solid knowledge of programming languages like Python is a plus
– experience in cloud frameworks (especially Azure) is a plus
– experience with PowerBI or similar BI tools is a plus
