Description:
Generic Responsibilities
• Coordinate between team members in fulfillment of the Central Vault & Cash Operations set plan.
• Assist the Head in ensuring the dissemination of policy & procedures and efficient & effective performance of responsibilities.
• Monitor a small group of employees with lower or same seniority.
• Ensure that officers & junior officers/ apprentice receive periodic training.
• Evaluate staff work and provide feedback through performance evaluation.
• Quarter sample review for RCSA compliance & report for incidents properly.
Participate in providing periodical analytical reports/ presentation.
Key Responsibilities
• Supervise receiving and fulfilling the cash requests from branches, either in domestic or foreign currencies.
• Ensure the best utilization of cash flow/excess in all the branches.
• Ensure that all the cash supplies are delivered safely from branches without thefts or frauds.
• Approve the transactions related to the issuance/renewal of insurance… policies to secure cash in the Bank.
• Manage receiving cash surpluses in local and foreign currencies from branches and review all the related reports.
• Manage the cash received from different sources and arrange with the Head for the following:
• Provide ADIB branches with the requested amount.
• Send cash surplus to the Central Bank of Egypt or any other local bank according to the Head instructions and the predetermined agreements.
• Ensure the transactions of “cash collection service outside the bank” service is carried according to the pre-determined agreements with the Corporate & SME’s customers.
• Follow-up on the commitment of the branches to operating limits and cash insurance.
• Coordinate with the Treasury to arrange with local and foreign banks regarding the shipment of foreign currency surplus.
• Analyze the technical specifications regarding the contracting/renewal with money transfer companies.
• Monitor the cash status (surplus and shortage) and cash limits of the branches on a daily basis in consistency with their typology and security rules and forecast the needed amount of domestic and international currencies to be stocked according to the requirements of the national banks and other local institutions.
• Review the discrepancies found in the GL accounts and notify the concerned parties.
• Monitor the exchange of vault keys and apply internal control procedures.
• Ensure that all the processes are fully compliant with the rules, regulations and security instructions issued by the Central Bank of Egypt on the transfer of cash.
• Take part in setting emergency plans to protect the working systems and ATMs in case of any surprising events that may threaten their safety.
• Oversee handling the related UAT testing and review the results to ensure correct implementation.
• Ensure proper handling & resolving complaints in cooperation with Consumer Rights Protection – Compliance & Governance – in accordance with the policies and procedures and identified SLA.
• And any other assigned Tasks.
Minimum Qualifications
• Bachelor degree
• Master degree is preferable
Minimum Experience:
• Min 6-8 years of relevant experience
