Description:
**The main purpose of this position is responsible for managing and overseeing the organization’s borrowing and lending activities with financial institutions.**
• *Duties and responsibilities**:
– Assess and negotiate credit facilities (e.g., loans, overdrafts, trade financing) with banks to ensure optimal terms for the company.
– Monitor the utilization of credit limits and ensure compliance with covenants.
– Build and maintain strong relationships with banks, financial institutions, and /or lenders.
– Act as the primary point of contact for all banking-related matters.
– Financial Analysis and Risk Assessment:
– Analyze the company’s financial health to determine appropriate financing needs.
– Evaluate interest rates, fees, and repayment terms to mitigate financial risks.
– Ensure the company’s borrowing aligns with its financial goals and liquidity requirements.
– Prepare detailed reports on credit facility usage, payment schedules, and financial impacts.
– Maintain accurate and organized records of all banking agreements, facility terms, and correspondence.
– Provide periodic updates to management on the status of credit facilities and debt positions.
– Ensure adherence to all banking regulations, company policies, and lender requirements.
– Work closely with internal and external auditors during financial reviews.
– Work with internal finance teams to forecast cash flow needs and manage debt service.
– Support month-end and year-end close process
– Liaise with our Financial manager and Accounting manager to improve financial procedures
– Secures financial information by completing database backups.
– Protects organizations value by keeping information confidential.
– Any other tasks assigned by the financial manager.
• *Qualifications**:
– Bachelor of Commerce from a recognized university.
– Minimum of **5 years of experience in GCC (Qatar Experience will be given first preference)
