Job Purpose
The Trade Finance Manager reviews and monitors trade finance operations. He/She directs report preparation and Management Information Systems (MIS) on trade finance activities. He/She negotiates with financial institutions on the organisation’s need for credit facilities.
He/She works closely with team to understand the trade flows & work out with bankers across the globe to reach to a desired solution. He/She would liase with international Banks for availing trade credit facilities for the company. He/She is analytical and well-spoken.
Job Responsibility
· Knowledge of finance and trade financing.
· Develop financing strategies to ensure trades are financed.
· Develop… measures to ensure corporate regulations are followed.
· Drive better use of trade facilities.
· Inspect trade documents to maintain compliance with terms.
· Coordinate with the supply chain department concerning LC’s and payment terms with suppliers.
· Communicate with Banks to negotiate for quotes for Letter of Credit Transactions and explore Trade Finance Opportunities with them.
· Review and negotiate all types of charges raised by current as well as upcoming banks.
· Prepare documents required to be submitted to banks to get credit facilities
· Handle the renewal process for the current facilities with existing banks.
· Control trading operations such as establishing letter of credit, negotiating LC Terms and conditions, discounting LC, issuing bank guarantees, and submitting control returns on all the discounted LCs.
· Prepare and submit reports on document checking activities, discrepancies identified, and actions taken. Provide insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Skills, Experience and Qualification Required
· Minimum 2 year experience in Trade Finance/Facility/ Business Banking.
· Knowledge of international banking
· Highly analytical
· Sound experience of negotiations
· Skilled in excel

Pay: ₹360,000.00 – ₹600,000.00 per year
