Description:
As a Bank Reconciliation Accountant, you will be responsible for cash reconciliation, account reconciliations, and overseeing the company receipting systems. The position of Bank Reconciliation Accountant incorporates journal processing, bank reconciliation and general ledger reconciliation, Regional Tax, rates on charges, preparation of monthly reports and ledger transaction verification.
Key Competencies / Skills / Knowledge:
• Accounting knowledge will be a distinct advantage.
• Previous experience in undertaking bank reconciliations
• A good working knowledge of the Microsoft Windows environment and good computer skills.
• Effective written, verbal and non-verbal communication skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information, to be able to work under pressure and to meet deadlines.
• High level of numeracy.
• Excellent time management skills, able to priorities and meet deadlines.
• Able to work with minimum supervision and to work as part of a team.
