What You Will Be Doing
• Responsible for day-to-day operations and optimizing the performance of the trade finance process and related activities.
• Lead overall activities within trade finance – documentary trade. Role holder will ensure timely, and quality services are provided to both internal and external customers through customer-focused operations to maximize customer satisfaction.
• Lead multiple processes supporting customer fulfillment for trade finance activities, including daily operations like letters of credit, payments, and document scrutiny.
• Monitor key performance metrics, identify areas for improvement, and implement necessary changes.
• Develop cross-skilling initiatives to promote adaptability and continuous learning.
• Ensure compliance with banking laws, regulations, and industry standards, managing operational risks and implementing solutions.
• Collaborate with executive leadership on strategic decisions impacting financial well-being.
• Address escalated customer issues, maintain service quality standards, and build relationships with key stakeholders to drive customer satisfaction.

What We Are Looking For
• Bachelor’s degree in finance, Business Administration, or a related field. MBA or other advanced degrees are preferred.
• Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in back-office processes within the banking industry.
• Minimum of 2 years in leadership capacity.
• Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory requirements, and risk management.
• Certification in Risk Management or Compliance is a plus.
