Group Technology and Operations (T&O) enables and empowers the bank with an efficient, nimble and resilient infrastructure through a strategic focus on productivity, quality & control, technology, people capability and innovation. In Group T&O, we manage the majority of the Bank’s operational processes and inspire to delight our business partners through our multiple banking delivery channels

Key Responsibilities

Operational Leadership:
• Oversee the entire credit card operations, ensuring seamless delivery of all operational activities
• Develop and implement strategic plans to optimize operational efficiency and effectiveness
• Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements and internal policies

Operational Excellence
• Drive a culture of operational excellence by implementing best practices and continuous improvement initiatives
• Monitor and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to identify areas for improvement and ensure operational targets are… met
• Lead projects aimed at enhancing operational processes and systems

Risk Management
• Foster a risk-aware culture within the team, ensuring all operations adhere to the highest standards of risk management
• Identify potential risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on operations
• Conduct regular risk assessments and audits to ensure compliance and operational integrity

Management Reporting
• Develop and deliver comprehensive management reports, providing insights into operational performance and risk management
• Ensure accurate and timely reporting to senior management and stakeholders
• Utilize data analytics to support decision-making and strategic planning

Team Leadership
• Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing team of professionals
• Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment that encourages innovation and continuous learning
• Set clear performance expectations and provide regular feedback and coaching to team members

Stakeholder Management
• Build and maintain strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders, including senior management, regulators, and business partners
• Act as a key point of contact for credit card operations-related inquiries and issues

Outsourcing Management
• Oversee outsourcing relationships to ensure service quality and adherence to SLAs
• Manage vendor performance and coordinate with external partners to optimize outsourced operations
• Conduct regular reviews and assessments of outsourcing arrangements to identify areas for improvement

Product Launch And Enhancement
• Lead and coordinate the launch of new credit card products and enhancements to existing products
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful product rollouts
• Monitor product performance and implement enhancements based on customer feedback and market trends

Education / Preferred Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field. Advanced degree (MBA) preferred
• 15-18 years of experience in credit card operations within the banking sector, with a proven track record of leadership and operational excellence
• Strong understanding of credit card products, services, and regulatory requirements
• Demonstrated experience in risk management and compliance
• Proven experience in managing outsourcing relationships and product launches
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
• Exceptional leadership and team management abilities
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and collaborate with stakeholders at all levels
• Proficiency in data analytics and management reporting tools
