We’re seeking someone to join our team as an Associate to work as part of the wider business analysis project team with a focus on back & middle office business change, risk and regulatory initiatives.

In the Operations division, we partner with business units across the Firm to support financial transactions, devise and implement effective controls and develop client relationships, driving strategic automation solutions by embracing a transformation mindset and challenging the status quo.

This is an Associate position within Risk, Regulatory & Resilience, which performs various independent functions to ensure adequate controls are in place. We do this by providing an integrated risk and control framework to govern, assess, mitigate and manage financial and operational risk in Operations.

What You’ll Do In The Role
• Currently the APAC team looks after the trade & transaction reporting obligations for APAC mandates i.e. ASIC, MAS, HKMA and FSC. To perform daily activities team liaise with various internal and external counterparties daily, including other Operations teams, Sales and Trading, Non-Market Risk leads, Legal and Compliance teams, Information Technology etc
• Why the role is necessary APAC team has daily deliverables which are currently performed manually by existing FTE who has resigned. APAC being zero threshold mandate and having a regulatory risk we want to have a dedicated resource you can perform this functions efficiently

What You’ll Bring To The Role
• Bachelor’s degree
• 3-8 years of relevant working experience
• Knowledge of Derivative Products preferable. Including Listed Derivatives, FX, Commodities, Equity, Credit and Interest Rates
• Strong communication & problem solving skills
• Strong experience of MS Office, particularly Excel
• Good analytical / reconciliation skills
• Good command of English language (oral and written)
